School Board to Highlight Historic Academic Gains Tonight

Leon County Schools now has more A and B-rated schools than at any point in the past 13 years, and we're excited to share the story behind those results.

Tonight, the Leon County School Board will receive an in-depth presentation from our Academic Services team highlighting this year's outstanding student and school achievements. From improved mathematics performance across the district, to Bond Elementary earning its first-ever A, to Sealey Elementary making an incredible leap from a C to an A, our schools continue to demonstrate the power of hard work, dedicated educators, and student success. Not to mention Leon County Schools falling just 0.25 of a percentage point shy of an "A" District rating while continuing to demonstrate academic growth across the district.

These accomplishments are more than letter grades—they represent real progress for students and position Leon County Schools among some of the top-performing districts in Florida. We look forward to celebrating these achievements and continuing the work of helping every student succeed.
