Sideline Pass
High School Football and Basketball Sideline Pass Submission
- Creators must apply for a Sideline Pass for each ATHLETIC EVENT INIDIVIDUALY.
- Applications can be submitted in bulk at the beginning of the season by emailing the Ahtletic Director.
- Make sure to include the event name and date in the subject of your email..
- Ex: “Sideline Pass Request: Rickards Home Game, August 14”
- Creator can download the Sideline Pass Application here.
- Creator submits the form to the school’s Athletic Director (AD) via email no later than FOUR (4) days prior to the event.
- If the game is on Friday, the form needs to be turned in by close of business Tuesday.
- If the game is on a Thursday, the form needs to be turned in by close of business Monday
- Creator will hear back from the AD at least 24 hours prior to athletic event on whether they have been approved.
Day of Event, Check-in-Procedure:
- Creator will show up at the gate of entry on the day of the event to receive your approved Sideline Pass.
- Creator will report to the assigned approved media capturing location.
- Sideline Pass will be returned at the conclusion of the event.
Only approved Media Pass Creators will be allowed on the sidelines for football games. Failure to adhere to the assigned procedures will result in removal from the sidelines and possible exclusion from future Media Pass approval.
