Business/Organization Partner


Generally, this CEO or management-level person assumes the ultimate responsibility for the success of the Partner Program from the business/organization perspective.

  • Confirms the organization’s commitment to the program
  • Designates a partner contact within the business/organization to coordinate activities with the school or district program
  • Acclimates school staff to the business organization
  • Makes a philosophical commitment to support the school to the greatest extent possible for an entire school term
  • Allows identified resources to be used in schools
  • Evaluate the program and make recommendations for improvement
     

Partner Contact

The community partner designated this person as the “point of contact” or “contact person” to interact directly with the school on matters about the partnership.

  • Works with the school partner coordinator to identify needs and resources and to brainstorm appropriate partner involvement activities
  • Attends appropriate partner meetings to include school meetings and activities, and district partner activities arrange for in-house recognition of volunteers
  • Maintains records of involvement with the Partners for Excellence program for their company/organization/agency
  • Collects articles and photographs of partner activities for use in publications
