The Early Childhood Development program provides students with the skills necessary to work with children in a variety of professional early childhood programs. It is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for entry level and career advancement in the field of early childhood education. Hands-on experience is gained through assignments and observation.

National and State regulations and standards are increasing the demand for educated, trained, and experienced early childhood professionals to work in private or public facilities serving children.

Students enrolled in the Early Childhood Development program pursue rewarding careers in a variety of positions, including:
