MISSION STATEMENT
The Environmental Health and Safety Division, under the Code Enforcement, Compliance and Small Business Enterprise Department, promotes a safe and healthy environment for Leon County Schools and the Community.  We will accomplish our mission by:

• Supporting involvement of all staff in the success of our Health and Safety program
• Promoting Health and Safety throughout the Leon County School District in order to enhance knowledge of healthy and safe practices.
• Providing accessibilty and advice on health and safety regulations, procedures, standards and helping to ensure continued compliance throughout the District.
• Establishing a good example by practing and promoting safe behaviors with our young scholars.
