Welcome to Academic Services 

The Office of Academic Services provides the instructional pillar for Leon County Schools. We support teachers and administrators through targeted professional learning, on-site classroom assistance, comprehensive analysis and distribution of assessment results, and clear communication on district and state legislative initiatives – enabling educators to make more informed decision that benefit every learner. 

Academic Services  is dedicated to supporting schools and serving students through several critical programs and processes aligned to district, state and federal policies.  Under the leadership of Assistant Superintendent Shane Syfrett, the office is committed to partnering with every school in the district to deliver the services and supports necessary to ensure that all Leon County students receive an excellent education.
