About Us

The Department of Federal Programs is the federal grant management department of Leon County Schools, providing the financial, human resources, technological, and logistical support that keeps our district running efficiently and responsibly.

Our departments work together to ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance across all district operations so schools can stay focused on teaching and learning. Together, these departments provide the essential services that power the day-to-day operations of Leon County Schools and support more than 30,000 students and 4,000 employees.
