Leon County Schools United Way Leadership Team

LCS has led our community in United Way fundraising. Over the past five years, LCS has contributed over $550,000. Even more rewarding, those funds flow right back into our schools (Reading Pals, Math Pals, and other educational programs), to our families, and to the Foundation for Leon County Schools. This campaign could not have been successful without the district-wide leadership team organized by our Superintendent, Rocky Hanna.

Please welcome our 2026-2027 Leon County Schools-United Way of the Big Bend Leadership team.

• Rocky Hanna, Superintendent
• Chris Petley, Director of Communications & Marketing
• Stacey Turknett, Executive Assistant
• Mandi Meyer, Principal, Fairview Middle School
• Fred Johnson, Director II, Transportation
