Leon County Schools opened the District Security Center in the spring of 2010. The DSC is a one-stop, 24-hour monitoring and emergency management operations facility built with grant dollars to oversee security for the district. Some of the actions that take place within the DSC are: Burglar/Fire Alarm Monitoring, Real-time Weather Alerts, Bus Tracking, and Video Monitoring of all school Sites. The center operates in partnership with all law enforcement agencies in the region.

It's more important than ever to remember this phrase:

The District Security Center can receive reports in four ways.
