Today we celebrated a major milestone at Nims Middle School.

District leaders, students, and community members gathered to cut the ribbon on Nims’ newly renovated gymnasium and front lobby — a $7 million, state-of-the-art facility that will once again serve as the heart of athletics, school spirit, and community events on campus.
This project marks the second major addition completed at Nims this year, following the opening of a brand-new $17 million standalone cafeteria earlier this fall.

These investments are about more than buildings — they’re about creating spaces where students can compete, connect, and build pride in their school and community.
