Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

SLPs help students develop skills for speaking, understanding language, communicating, and sometimes swallowing so they can participate more fully in school and everyday life.

What Would My Day Look Like?
Every day can be different! An SLP might:

- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Track student progress and adjust strategies
- Help students use communication skills in the classroom and everyday situations

High School → Bachelor's Degree → Graduate Program in Speech-Language Pathology → Clinical Training → Licensure/Certification → SLP
