Every day can be different! A Physical Therapist might:

  • Work with students individually or in small groups
  • Help students improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility
  • Practice skills students need for everyday school activities

  • Recommend equipment or strategies that support independence
  • Work with teachers and families to support student needs
  • Collaborate with other therapists and school professionals
  • Track student progress and adjust activities as needed

High School → Bachelor's Degree/Prerequisite Courses → Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) → Clinical Training → Licensure → Physical Therapist

While you're in high school, explore courses related to biology, anatomy, health science, physics, psychology, and exercise science.
