Public NoticeLCS Academic Services is pleased to announce our next steps in the K-12 Math instructional materials adoption process. For each math course, a material from the publisher list has been selected as a recommendation to the LCS school board for further consideration for adoption. Our upcoming work with these recommendations includes
- February 14, 2023 School Board Meeting - Discussion of recommendations and official start to the statutorily required public review period of at least twenty (20) calendar days
- March 7, 2023 School Board Meeting - Statutorily-required hearing for public comment or challenge
- March 28, 2023 School Board Meeting - LCS School Board decision on adoption after considering the committee recommendation and the results of the public review and comment period

- November 28, 2022 - 4:30-5:30PM
- December 13, 2022 - 4:30-5:30PM
- December 14, 2022 - 4:30-6:30PM
- December 15, 2022 - 4:30-6:30PM

The document available for download or viewing below this text contains information about the appropriate products and publishers that were considered for adoption by course.While there is an attempt to make a consistent publisher selection in some areas, particularly in K-5 grades, the ultimate mechanism of reporting decisions on adoption occurs annually at the course listing level.
