School Improvement, Accountability and Testing
Welcome to School Improvement, Accountability and Testing—a division Academic Services with Leon County Schools. The purpose of School Improvement, Accountability and Testing is to administer all district and state testing programs, analyze and share related data, and support district initiatives on student achievement.
Assessing students and monitoring their progress is an important part of what we do. With assessments, we understand that parents, students, and the school community may have questions. We encourage you to visit this site regularly to stay informed and to access related information. In addition to new standards, teacher evaluation has evolved due to state legislation. We continue to apply changes as they are approved and keep our instructional staff apprised of modifications.
We aim to provide you the most up-to-date information on testing, program requirements, district performance data, and guidance for research requests. We welcome you and hope the information we provide meets your needs. If you need additional information, please contact our office at (850) 487-7833.
