      Our Mission

      It is the mission of Augusta Raa Arts Magnet Middle School to provide an educational setting designed to prepare students to be successful lifelong learners. Through curricula and extracurricular activities, each student will have the opportunity to be active participants in the learning process and engage in activities that allow them to explore their individual interests.

    Raa Spotlight

    • Every week we "Spotlight" one of Raa's outstanding groups; teachers, students, staff members, etc. This week, we spotlighted two teachers: 

      • Mrs. Durbin for her devotion, not only in her classroom, but also for the U.S. Air Force Reserve.  She and her unit are assisting those who were affected by Hurricane Helene.  Thank you so much Mrs. Durbin for your service and love for Raa and our country!!

      • Coach Sheals is headed into the next chapter of his life: Retirement! After teaching/coaching for 30+ years, he plans to spend lots of time with his family and be the best granddad. We will miss you, Coach Sheals. HAPPY RETIREMENT!!!

        Create your FOCUS Parent Portal account to access report cards & grades, as well as update your contact info for the school records!  There will be no paper report cards, so be sure you can access FOCUS today!  Report Cards have been published today.

        The attached document provides you with the necessary instructions to update your “CONTACT INFORMATION” in FOCUS.  School is still in.  As we move to Distance Learning, being able to contact has never been more important!!
