Announcements

  • FSA Testing

    April 2nd is our FSA Writing Assessment. The bell schedule will be different that day. Please make sure your student is present and on time to school that day for testing. On Thursday, March 28th, students will receive their individual information regarding their exact testing time and testing room.

     

    Here is our testing calendar for the remainder of the school year. Please avoid having doctor's appointments scheduled on the days your student will be in state testing. Look out for more details regarding testing on our listserv.

  • Course Request Forms

    All current 6th and 7th grade students will receive their course request forms on Monday, April 8th. They will be due no later than Wednesday, April 17th. It is NOT first come first serve, so please take your time filling out the form and making selections. 

     

    Mandatory High School Credit Parent Night

    For any student who is even considering enrolling in Spanish 1, Algebra I Honors, Algebra I, or Earth Space Honors, a parent must attend the informational night on Wednesday, April 10th at 5:30pm in the cafeteria. This informational night is mandatory for students enrolling in those courses.

     

    Spanish I Prognosis Testing

    Any student to be eligible to take high school credit Spanish 1 next school year must be eligible by taking the Spanish I Prognosis test and earning a passing score. Additionally, their Language Arts teacher must sign off on the course request form. Spanish I Prognosis testing takes place through the student's Social Studies class starting on Tuesday, Feb 19th through March 8th. There will be a make-up day on March 13th for absent students. It is important students take this test seriously if they wish to be eligible for Spanish 1 next school year.

  • Making of a Mustang Summer Camp

  • Chiles Visit

    Chiles will be meeting with all Chiles-bound students on Wednesday, March 27th during 1st period in the cafeteria. Students will receive their course request forms which will be due on Friday, April 5th to Montford’s front office. Chiles Guidance Counselors will return to Montford on Tuesday, April 9th to meet individually with students to go over their course request forms during their US History classes in Montford’s Media Center.

     

    Leon Visit

    Leon will be on campus on April 15th to meet with students regarding their course request process. Leon Course Requests will be due on April 22nd.

     

    Lincoln Visit

    Lincoln will be on campus on April 4th to meet with students. Lincoln Course Requests will be due on April 12th.

  • Attendance

    If your student arrives late to school or is picked up early, you must submit an excusal letter for the periods your student missed class. Signing in and out of the book at the front desk does not excuse your student’s absences. You can email Ms. Jones your excusal letters.
