PUBLIC NOTICE
The Leon County School Board is in the process of adopting ELA(English Language Arts) for the 22/23 school year.
Public School Board Meetings will be held at the Howell Building (3955 W Pensacola Street) on the following days and times:
- February 14, 2023 6pm (Public Comment)
- February 28, 2023 6pm (Public and School Board Member Comment)
- March 7, 2023 6pm (Board will vote on adoption)

The School District of Leon County recognizes that Mental Health encompasses social, emotional, and behavioral health and the ability to cope with life’s challenges. LCS’s mental health initiatives consist of a continuum of supports for student mental health wellness inclusive of school-based mental health service providers and community-based mental health professionals.
