This event brought LCTA educator representatives and school administrators together to explore the principles of effective, clear, and appropriate methods of communication and to build a system for site-based communications that would contribute to the overall workplace well-being of educators and students. The implementation templates walks leaders through planning for areas in which communications can improve and in building a clear and systemic understanding of site procedures for communication with all stakeholders.

This is an updated template of the 23-24 plan for coordinating and communication processes for curriculum, instruction, and intervention aligned to Florida standards at LCS sites. This template was originally used in the Summer of 2023 as the end of the Still the BEST series of professional learning events.

This professional learning event allowed site leaders to plan for both individual and team supports for teachers at their site new to the profession and those who are new to their schools and sites. The implementation plan template assists in determining what support systems exist, which need to be built, and who will support which parts of the system to build site capacity and retain new hires.
