2021 Blended Lives Virtual Field Trip
-
On behalf of Leon County Schools, The Goodwood Museum & Gardens, and The John G. Riley Center & Museum, we are pleased to announce that Blended Lives will once again be provided to all fourth grade students in Leon County Schools. Though this year’s Blended Lives experience may look different, one thing is certain, we will continue to celebrate our community’s diversity, culture, and history. Students will visit our community’s rich and diverse past, broaden their understanding, and build meaningful connections to shared history.
Due to the current pandemic, schools will be unable to travel to The Goodwood Museum & Gardens and The John G. Riley Center & Museum. Therefore, the Blended Lives virtual field trip will be coming to you! Blended Lives will be held February 16th-26th, and will provide schools the flexibility to explore at your convenience, The Goodwood Museum & Gardens, The John G. Riley Center & Museum, along with additional resources. With this flexibility, we hope it will allow you to plan a meaningful experience for your students, as you celebrate our community’s rich and diverse past.
Please see the documents linked below that will be used to assist you in facilitating and implementing Blended Lives 2020-2021.
As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you so much for all that you do. Have a wonderful day!
