Prequalification of Contractors, Trades and Professional Services
-
The School Board will prequalify contractors, trades, professional architectural, engineering, landscape architectural, or surveying and mapping services for a one-year period pursuant to the criteria set forth in Florida Statutes 1013.46, and State Requirements for Educational Facilities, Chapter 4, Section 4.1 (1) and Florida Statutes 287.055(3)(b).
Firms seeking to contract for school construction projects must hold a valid Certificate of Prequalification from the Leon County School Board. Certificates will be valid for one year from the date of School Board approval and must be renewed annually. Submittals for work from firms not prequalified at the time of submittal will be deemed nonresponsive and will not be considered.
To prequalify or renew your prequalification, firms must submit one copy of each item referenced in the link for Prequalification Requirements.
**REMEMBER Annual Prequalification Certificates expire one year from their Board approved date.
To ensure no lapse in prequalification, it is recommended that submission of these requirements be sixty (60) days in advance of the expiration date.
The firms must submit all required information to:
