      Leon County School District students have an opportunity to earn industry certifications in our Career and Technical Education programs. Students who earn an industry certification that can articulate for postsecondary credit save money for tuition and fees by completing these programs in high school.  Exactly how much can be saved?

      Getting started on a career can be very challenging for high school students--whether you are going straight into the workforce or to a postsecondary institution.  Picture this: you go to a potential employer and are excited about applying for the job, and you know you have the qualifications for the position; however, the potential employers say you are a great candidate, but you lack experience. How can you get that experience if you cannot even get in the door?
