Please remember if you have large projects, such as the book binding or large posters or multiple posters please contact Ms. Joyce Knight directly at knightm@leonschools.net or 850-487-7835.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate visitors and/or children in the Production Room due to safety reasons.
The Production Room is provided for use by Leon County Teachers only.
Our regular operating hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Please wear your LCS ID badge to gain entry to the Production Room.
Here are some general guidelines when using the Production Room:
- All work must be school related. District materials are not to be used for personal or private projects.
- All supplies must be consumed in the production process. No supplies can be taken from the Production Room. This includes poster board, construction paper, paper squares that have been cut to size for the Ellison Die cutter. Whether laminated or not, these items are supplies and may not be taken from the room.
- Copy and printer services are not available.
- We do not have the personnel to laminate for you. Please do not send or leave items to be laminated. We will laminate any posters that we make for you.
- All children must remain in their designated area and be supervised by an adult. Children are not allowed to use any equipment in the room, this includes scissors.
- Please be courteous and cooperative with others when working in this area. It is better to share than to monopolize.
- Please help us keep the production area neat by disposing of trash and scraps, returning items to their proper place, keeping supplies neat and orderly.
- Ask us for assistance. That’s what we are here for and we’ll be happy to help you.

Folders with metal prongs or slides in the center may no longer be laminated at the District Media Center. They cause too much damage to the machines. Thank you.
