Hola, soy la Sra. Holguin. My husband is from the Dominican Republic and we have 2 fabulous children. 

With over 30 years of teaching experience on all levels, I absolutely love Montford Middle School and teaching Spanish. I have been at Montford since its inaugural year. I have a M.S. degree and am certified to teach Spanish, Elementary and ESOL.

A native of Ohio, I taught in Dayton, Ohio, Santiago, Dominican Republic and Wellington, Florida, before settling in Tallahassee. 

My love of travel has taken me to many countries, like Haiti, the Dominican Republic, several Caribbean islands, Spain, Costa Rica, Mexico, Honduras, Belize, Ecuador, Australia, the UK and Denmark. I have organized 5 student travel tours with Montford students and families to Costa Rica and Ecuador, and I am currently recruiting for Costa Rica 2025 and Spain 2026!
