    Welcome to Montford Middle School! On behalf of the faculty, staff, administration, and PTSO, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the Mustang Family! Montford is rich in its traditions of excellence, and we are excited to watch our incoming 6th grade class add to this legacy. This page has been prepared to help acquaint you and your family with information about all the wonderful things Montford has to offer, as well as to help ease the transition from elementary to middle school.     Course Request Information

    Course Request Forms will be provided to elementary schools after Spring Break. Course requests are NOT first come, first served. Turning yours in first does NOT give you priority. 

    • Do you not agree with the core placement recommendation made by the teacher? You can override their recommendation by filling out this form and stapling it to your course request form. 
    • At least one semester of PE each year of middle school is required. PE is automatically added to every student's schedule unless you fill out the information on the our course request form. 
    • Students will receive tentative schedules the first week of July. At that time, the course change window will open. For course change requests, email MontfordSchedules@leonschools.net. Please note this email address is only open during the course change window over the summer.

    EDEP

    Will you need before or after school care for your student? Montford offers before school starting at 7am and after school ending at 6pm. To find out more information on how to register, visit our Before and After School Programs page.

    Summer Programs (2025)

    If your student is looking to get involved on Montford's campus this summer, there are different options for them to choose from.

    • Making of a Mustang Camp: July 21st - July24th from 9am - 11:45am
    • Cheer Camp: June 16th - June 19th from 9am - noon
    • Basketball Camp: June 2nd- June 5th from 8am to noon
    • Football Camp: July 21st - July 23rd from 8:30am- 12:15pm
