• Agriculture Classroom Volunteers

Many Agriculture projects will require additional hands and eyes in order to be safe and enjoyable for our students.  Additionally, the scope and wealth of our collective community know-how far exceeds what this instructor alone can offer our students.

Please consider volunteering to work with our students if you can share time inside or outside the classroom.  This class is fluid in its ability to take advantage of unique opportunities that present themselves each year, such as windfalls from neighboring orchards, local farm overproduction, family and business contributions, field trips, or grant awards.  Your assistance is needed and welcome.

Interested family members should email Ms. Fain at fains@leonschools.net with the following subject line: name of grand/parent, aunt… (first and last), relationship to student (their name), period, i.e:

Email Subject Line Example: Sigrid Fain, grandmother of Shiloh Lorenz, 1st period

In the email, tell me how you are interested in helping, when you are available to help, and the best way to reach you. That way I can capture your correct email if I can’t read it below 😊
