Welcome!!

My name is Darlene Lowery.  I have been teaching for 23 years- all in Leon County.  This is my fourth year at Montford, and I absolutely love teaching here!  Go Mustangs!

My husband David and I have two boys (well...men).  Aidan is 21 and a senior at Florida State University, and Tag is 20 years old and is a junior at the University of Florida.  Yes, we are a house divided.  My boys are actually former Mustangs and both attended Roberts Elementary. 

Fun Facts about me:

• I love to do Bounce, do Barre, and Boxing classes at The Glo
• Going to the beach is my favorite way to distress and unwind
• I love FOOD…especially places like Zoe’s, Gordo's, and McGowan's.
• I have two dogs: Biscuits- hound mix, and Olive-hound mix...I love my girls!
• I'm a Breast Cancer Survivor!!!!
• I spend a lot of time reading-I love historical fiction.
• I’m originally from Hollywood, Florida.
• I LOVE my Seminoles....well, and now the Gators (kinda).
