Mrs. Alex Long is one of Montford's two school counselors. She works with all grades and is specifically assigned those whose last names start with A-Ld. In addition to being a school counselor, she is Montford's Referral coordinator. If your student does not currently have ESE services, 504 accommodations, Gifted services and you suspect a need for any of these, please contact her (regardless of your student's last name). If your student does currently have any of these services and you have questions or concerns regarding their current plan, please contact either of the following individuals: ESE services--your student's assigned IEP case manager, 504 accommodations--Mrs. Ward-504 point person, Gifted services--Mr. Busboom-gifted coordinator.

Mrs. Long has resided in Tallahassee, FL since 2012. She earned her Bachelor's degree in International Affairs from Florida State University in 2015 and her Master's degree in Counselor Education from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2020.
