• Digital Academy Reading Lesson Directions

Go to ClassLink; Canvas; Mrs. Davidson’s Homeroom; Assignments; Reading — Week of...

    1. At the beginning of each week, click on PDF for Reading Lessons.
This is your reading packet for the whole week. These same directions are on that page (and will also be on my teacher site if you need to print them again).

    2. You will see: Here is your Fillable PDF for your lessons this week: RL11_Lessons Fillable.pdf

    3. Click on the blue link on that page to open all your reading lessons for the week.

    4. Each day, you will complete specific pages in the PDF. You’ll click on each day in the module or click NEXT in Canvas, and it will take you to each day’s assignment.

    5. When you're done with that day's work, you will SAVE (Go to File: Save).
Your work will be saved in your downloads. We'll look at where that is on your computer.

    6. After it's saved there, you will open it up from there (downloads) each day to continue working on it.

    7. At the end of the lessons, you will submit the entire PDF, like you submitted your SS Assignment.

You are welcome to work ahead, just make sure that you complete all pages on time. You will need to have your answers ready during small group, so do not wait until Friday to complete the entire PDF. Do each assignment each day.

    Questions? Answers.

"How do I know which pages to do today?" - Click on the NEXT button at the bottom of the PDF page, find the day and date that matches today. These are your assigned pages.

"I can't edit the PDF!" - Download the PDF and write your answers on a piece of paper. Make sure you label each page with the day and date so you can easily find your answers during small group. We will work on any computer issues at the end of each day.

"Is this a grade? Where do I submit my answers?" - You will submit ALL of your answers on Friday to an Assignment DropBox at the bottom of the Reading module. You can submit early, if you would like, but I will not give you your grade until everything is turned in.

"Can I email you my answers?" - No. I will not accept answers emailed to me. Please use Canvas to submit your answers. We will work out the computer issues as needed.

"Do I have to use complete sentences? Can't I just write one or two words?" - Use complete sentences. This is fourth grade. It's time to show what you know, and grow and grow!
