Welcome!  

Hi!  My name is Jennifer "Candice" Ray and I am a fifth grade teacher here at Hawks Rise Elementary.  Before we begin our year together, allow me to introduce myself and share some things about me.

I grew up in Tallahasssee where I attended Gilchrist, Raa and Leon.  I graduated from Florida Southern College and interned in Winter Haven where I taught third grade.  I also taught 3rd-5th grade in Orlando at NorthLake Park Community School.  After starting a family, I relocated back to Tallahassee in 2007.  I have been teaching at Hawks Rise ever since.  

My husband and I have three kids:  Cassandra, Parker, and Callie.  We added a new addition to our family this summer, Daisy the sheepadoodle!
