Welcome!  

Hi!  My name is Jennifer "Candice" Ray and I am a fifth grade teacher here at Hawks Rise Elementary.  Before we begin our year together, allow me to introduce myself and share some things about me.

I grew up in Tallahasssee where I attended Gilchrist, Raa and Leon.  I attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL.  I interned in Winter Haven and taught third grade for three years before transferring to Orlando.  In Orlando, I taught third, fourth, and fifth grades at NorthLake Park Community School.  After starting a family, I relocated back to Tallahassee in 2007.  I have been teaching at Hawks Rise ever since.  

My husband and I have three kids- Cassandra(29), Parker(16), and Callie(8).
