Hawks Rise Elementary School

Fourth grade students are busy learning about Florida history, writing five-paragraph essays, diving deep in novel studies, making learning come to life with our Greek Festival, and so much more. In science, students are very involved with labs and science experiments. There are many opportunities for hands on activities in each unit. Our math classes use technology, manipulatives and cooperative group work to enhance and extend our math curriculum. 

The students stay with their homeroom teacher for all subject areas. ACE students spend one day a week extending the curriculum in a gifted classroom.  

This is a big year in learning how to be organized and independent while preparing for fifth grade!
