Javonne Taylor attended college at The University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. At UNF, she received her bachelors degree in Pre-K Primary Education which specializes in age three to grade 3. Upon completing her internship in December of 2006 at Crown Point Elementary she was hired as a first grade ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) teacher. In 2008 she completed her Masters in Reading K-12. She worked at Crown Point Elementary, located in Jacksonville, Florida for four years before moving to Tallahassee and is currently in her eleventh year of teaching first grade at Hawks Rise Elementary.
