Mrs. Caitlin Grampa

Welcome! My name is Caitlin Grampa and I am an ESE teacher here at Hawks Rise Elementary.  This is my eighth-year teaching here in Tallahassee, and my fourth year as a Hawks Rise Hawk! This year, I will be co-teaching language arts and math with Ms. Piper (1st Grade) and with Mrs. Hutto and Ms. Drye (5th Grade).  I am excited to be a part of this co-teaching initiative and look forward to working with your child this year.

I graduated from Florida State University (Go Noles!) in 2012 with a Master’s of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as a Reading and ESOL Endorsement.  In 2016, I also earned my Exceptional Student Education certification.

I was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida but moved to Tallahassee in 2007 to attend college. When I am not teaching or planning, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Nick, and my 4-year-old daughter, Savannah, as well as our family and friends. Some of the hobbies I enjoy are shopping, crafting, and spending time by the pool or beach.

I absolutely love teaching and learning, and it is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with passion so that my students will desire to become lifelong learners.
