Hawks Rise Families,

As an educator, I have had the opportunity to serve families in several positions-Teacher, Reading Coach, and Assistant Principal. It is with great joy that I am able to serve the Hawks Rise Elementary families as your principal. I am a native of Mobile, Alabama, and graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and from Florida State University with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. My husband and I have lived in Tallahassee since 1986, and our two children attended Leon County Schools. I love to travel with my family, hike, and read a good mystery book. Most of all, I enjoy getting to know our students and watching them learn and grow. Hawks Rise is an amazing place, and I am so happy to be a part of this school community.
