Special area includes art, music, and PE for all grades. Additional classes vary by grade level: 1st guidance, K and 1st media, and 4th and 5th technology. Students rotate through special area classes on a 5-day (grades 2 & 3) , 6-day (grades K, 4, & 5), or  7-day (1st grade) schedule. Some classes are divided to accommodate this schedule, and to balance the number of students in each class. Each special area has activities unique to their curriculum. Music programs for each grade level are presented to the community, student art work is presented in community art shows, and Jump Rope for Heart and Field Days are two activities in which all students participate, just to name a few.
