I grew up in Tallahassee and attended Leon High School. For college, I went to UCF, but I am still a die-hard Seminole fan! I have been married to my wonderful and supportive husband, Blair, for 5 years. Our son, Sutton, just turned two and brings us so much joy! We enjoy traveling, football games, going to Dog Island, and spending time with family.
In 2008, I graduated from UCF with my bachelor’s in Elementary Education with reading and ESOL endorsements. Upon graduating, I moved to Manatee County and taught 1st grade and 1st and 3rd grade reading interventions. After my time there, I moved back to Tallahassee and started teaching at HRES in the fall of 2011. The majority of my time here has been in 1st and 2nd grades, and this will be my third year in third grade.
