Extra Credit Opportunities:
*Students can read an article about our current (or previously taught) science topic and write a brief summary about it.
*What to include: A copy of the article, a one (or more) paragraph summary of the article, a paragraph about what you learned from the article and how it relates to what we have learned in class. This should be no less than a one page hand-written or half/three fourths of a page typed.
Students can submit up to two article summary extra credit assignments each nine weeks
*In addition, students can earn extra credit points for reading a nonfiction AR book on our current unit of study and take an AR quiz. If they score an 80% or higher on the AR quiz they will be awarded extra credit points.
