Hello! Thanks for stopping by to get to know me a little more. My name is Mrs. Townsend and this is my 13th year teaching. This is my 8th year at Hawks Rise Elementary. I'm very excited to be here and I am looking forward to a great year.

Aside from being a teacher, I'm also a wife and mommy! I have been married to my husband, Shawn, for 12 years, and we have 4 children, including a recent high school graduate, a fifth grader, and a set of twins in third grade!

In addition to teaching, I also enjoy traveling, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
