Hello Third Grader! I'm Mrs. Middleton, and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! Welcome to third grade!! We are going to have an AMAZING year together! I can't wait to get to know you!!

A Little About Me: I grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and I have many wonderful memories of climbing the mountain, swimming in the lake, and watching the laser show. I graduated from Shorter College in Rome, Georgia, with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught pre-k, kindergarten, first grade, and third grade. I also taught grades 5-8 in a little village in Kenya one summer! Most of my teaching has been in 3rd, and it is truly my favorite!! While I love teaching, I also love spending time with my family. I took some time to stay home with my kids when they were little. I am now entering my 14th year of teaching (9th year at Hawks Rise), and I know it will be a great year!

My Family: I have been married to my wonderful husband, Tim, for 23 years, and we have 3 amazing children who were all once at Hawks Rise! Now, my oldest two (Ben and Kara) are in college, and my youngest (Josiah) will be a sophomore at Chiles this year. We have a few other "family" members as well, including two crazy pups named Cosmo and Nova and three calico cats named Leah, Princess Buttercup, and Ellie. The dogs love to play and go on walks, and the cats love to eat, take naps, avoid the dogs, and sometimes cuddle! :)

A Few of My Favorite Things: My kids keep me pretty busy, but I also love reading, cooking, hiking, and the beach. 

Welcome to Third Grade! Third grade is the BEST year, and I'm so glad you're here!! We are going to have so much fun and learn a lot together every day. I can't wait to get started! Welcome, welcome!!
