Dear Second Graders,

Welcome to second grade! This is going to be an exciting year full of learning with a few changes. School will feel a little different this year, but we can handle the challenge. I am so excited to have you in my class this year, and look forward to having a great year!

I was born and raised here in Tallahassee. I  graduated from Florida A & M University (FAMU) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. I have been a teacher for 19 years. Over the years, I’ve taught second, third, and fifth grade.  Guess what? Second grade is my favorite! 

My hobbies are attending FAMU football games, relaxing, eating out, going to the movies, and reading. As the year progresses, you are going to learn more about me. I can’t wait to learn more about you. Get plenty of rest this weekend, and I’ll see you bright and early Monday morning.
