Hi!  My name is Susan Davis and I am a second grade teacher at Hawks Rise Elementary School. Allow me to introduce myself and share some things about me!

I grew up in Tallahassee and have a very large family. I am married to Emory Davis (my high school sweetheart) and we have two adult, married children, a space-loving 10 year old grandson, a unicorn-loving 7 year old granddaughter, a 4-wheeler loving 6 year old grandson, and twin 3 year old grandsons, Ryder (who loves dinosaurs) and Cullen (who loves trucks)! I have a wonderful, black Labrador Retriever named "Zoe Belle" who loves to play catch, retrieves the newspaper from the end of the driveway for me every day & brings me my shoes each morning! I also have a cute (sometimes cranky), white Lhasa Apso named "Frankie" who loves to go for car rides.

I am a Florida State University graduate (Go Noles!) and a National Board Certified Teacher. This is my 36th year teaching and my 30th year at Hawks Rise. In fact, I helped open this school in 1995!

Some of my favorite things to do, besides teach, are spend time with my grandchildren, camp, garden, walk my dogs, go to the beach, cook, and attend sporting events (especially FSU). 

So, now you know a few things about me! 

I am eager to learn more about my students as we explore and learn together! I know it's going to be an amazing year and I can't wait to get started! :) ♥♥
