I am a proud graduate of Florida State University. This is my 20^th year teaching at Hawks Rise! Whoa! I have taught kindergarten, 2^nd grade, a 2^nd/3^rd combination class, 3^rd grade and 4th!

 As you probably know, my husband is Mr. Walker… one of your PE teachers. (My name used to be Miss Whitman before we got married.) We have two little girls. Elsie is in 6th grade this year and Clara Grace is in 4th grade. They keep me very busy. I love, love, love being a teacher and a mom!

 Some of my favorite things to do, besides teaching, are: crafting, playing with my girls, reading, watching movies, and baking. My favorite season is fall... I'm ready for that cool, crisp air!
