It is truly a blessing being able to teach Culinary Arts at Leon High School.  I have a passion for teaching students about Culinary Arts and teaching them life skills that they can use forever.  My hope is that every student that I teach walks away with confidence in the kitchen and a "fear" of the kitchen disappears. 

I have a bachelors of science degree from Florida State University in Family & Consumer Sciences Eduction and certified in both Family & Consumer Sciences Education and PreK-3rd. I am ServSafe®  and Safe Staff certified.  This is my 9th year teaching in Leon County and my 6th year at Leon.  

Some of my hobbies include reading, walking, traveling, and trying new foods.  I also have an extreme "love" for all things chocolate.
