I am Benita Brown-Lyons your child’s Media Specialist and Intensive Reading Teacher.  I am a graduate of Florida A&M University and Florida State University.  Accomplished and proficient in the use of information technology. Library media specialists have become one of the most important instructional partners, working with teachers and administrators to enhance learning. My goal is to empower students to be enthusiastic readers and learners, critical thinkers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information.”
