Competition Results

  • National Mathcounts 2019 was held at Orlando from May 11-14th. Our student Karthik Vedula placed in the top 12 among the 224 competitors from all 50 states, US territories and schools from US state and defense departments. These 224 students were selected from more than 90,000 students who participated in the chapter and state levels. Karthik also got selected into the countdown round which is an opportunity for only the top 12 students. He was recognized for being the top scorer in the state of Florida, two time competitor and countdown contestant. Our coach, Dr. Kurian, was the official coach for the Florida team and her team placed second out of the fifty-six teams. Top 10 teams were recognized and out of that only the top 3 teams were recognized on stage.

Our students did a terrific Job at the Rickards Invitational. They worked really hard for this.
