  • “Entering the education profession in 1996, I began as an elementary Paraprofessional at Florida State University School, and worked my way within a year into middle school as a teacher. After serving in several capacities at FSUS, I was blessed with an opportunity to join the Leon County School Board and began teaching English at Lincoln High School. In 2008, I joined the ranks of James S. Rickards High School where I served as an Assistant Principal for the next 11 years. I am truly excited to have been blessed with this opportunity to serve this community that I love as the leader of the hidden academic gem, Fairview Middle School. My educational philosophy begins and ends with two core values – Build Relationships and Remain Consistent. Educational Success cannot occur without these two principals. I cannot wait to see these students grow before our eyes as they continue to strive towards excellence. Thank you for sharing these marvelous scholars with all of us! I am excited to see just how high they can fly!”
