Science Olympiad is a Regional, State, and National Competition that encourages students to excel at a variety of different science and engineering based tests and challenges. Some of the events involve students solving crimes by analyzing different chemicals, and some require students to build hovercraft or wheeled vehicle that performs a certain task. Others are research based exams where students score points based on how well they know the specific topic. 

Fairview currently has two teams and we are preparing for our Regional Competition which will take place TBA, 2021 at the University of Florida in Gainesville.The State Competition will be TBA at University of Central Florida in Orlando.

The club meets TBA after school from 4:00-5:30. During our meetings, we practice for our events and make sure any projects we build adhere to the rules.
