• October 16, 2020   PA Announcements

Good morning Fairview Falcons!  These are your Morning Announcements.  Today is Friday, October 16th, World Student Day! We are following the RED SCHEDULE today (so you should be in your 1st period class at this time)!  Today’s weather will be sunny with a high of 83.

At this time, please rise, place your hand over your heart as we recite the Pledge of Allegiance:  “I pledge allegiance, to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

    Please be seated.

    ·         Students – this is a reminder that Fairview Middle School is a No Phone Zone between 9:23 am and 3:50 pm every day.  If you have brought a cell phone, it is to be turned off and in your backpack during these times. If your phone is either seen or heard, it will be confiscated.  Please remember to show responsibility in following our school policies.

    ·         Last night, our Lady Falcon Softball Team had their game postponed due to rain. The make-up game is going to be tonight at 6:00 at Bellevue, where they will be facing Nims.  Good luck ladies!

    ·         Students, many of you have already received a Student ID with a lanyard and holder. Now that you have been issued one, it is a requirement that you are wearing it every day.  It is part of our Dress Code.  Please note that each student has been provided with a lanyard, holder and an ID card.  The first one of each is free, but there is a replacement cost for each item.  Please treat them with care.

    ·         Today’s Food for Thought comes to us from Major League Baseball coach Sparky Anderson:  “Success isn’t something that just happens – success is learned, success is practiced, and then it is shared.”

Students and teachers, have a blessed and Flamboyant Friday!

Flamboyant = behavior tending to attract attention because of their exuberance, confidence and stylishness
