Pineview Elementary School
ACE After-school Program
Members of Audubon, Dr Elizabeth Platt, Fred Dietrich and Dawn Saucier, conducted this special workshop with our 3rd graders in our after-school program. They taught students how to build a simple wooden birdfeeder and a hanging birdbath. Students were also provided with a bag of bird seeds and a bird-watching list. Ms Vanterpool, the lead teacher of this group of students, also assisted with the workshop. Students enjoyed this activity immensely and were anxious to take home their birdfeeder/birdbath in order to attract birds to their backyard.
