Red Cross Club

According to the American Red Cross, the Red Cross “helps vulnerable people around the world to prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters, armed conflicts and life- threatening health conditions.” By having a set of high school student volunteers at Rickards High School, our intent is to spread this mission and establish it throughout our school community, while also helping the surrounding communities as best we can as students. Encouraging a service mindset between peers ensures that they remain in close contact with their surrounding community and maintain an attitude of giving throughout their lives using the skills they have learned in this club.
