Please remember to have your child bring his/her blue folder to school every day. Your child received his/her pink homework folder today.
We will complete unit 1 week 3 in Wonders on Wednesday, September 12th. The essential question for this week is how can a pet be an important friend? Students will be completing unit 1/week 3 independently. Our reading, spelling, writing, and vocabulary assessments are scheduled for next Thursday and Friday. Our vocabulary and comprehension assessments are scheduled for Thursday, September 13th. On Friday, September 14th, we will complete our spelling and writing assessments.
The comprehension, vocabulary, and spelling assessments will be recorded in FOCUS. Please have your child read an AR book of his/her choice over the weekend so he/she can take AR tests.

I know many parents like to chaperone field trips and attend parties. If this form is not completed, you will be unable to participate. This is a district policy, not mine. I would appreciate it if you would send me a quick email after you complete the registration.
If you have any questions, please email me at brittlem@leonschools.net.
To Many Happy Days,
